Plant Biology 2026 returns as the American Society of Plant Biologists (ASPB) and the Canadian Society of Plant Biologists (CSPB/SCBV) convene a joint conference in Ottawa, Canada, July 18-22, 2026. 

This unparalleled meeting brings together researchers, industry leaders, educators, and students from across the global plant biology community to share advances, foster collaborations, and highlight the scientific achievements of both societies.

The Plant Biology 2026 Program Committee is pleased to announce that abstract submissions are now being accepted in the following categories: 

  • Community Proposed Concurrent Sessions & Workshops (closes October 31, 2025) 
  • Independent Abstracts (closes January 2, 2026) 
  • Posters (closes June 19, 2026)
