Wheat Initiative training course on the use of UAV-based phenotyping in wheat research and wheat breeding

The Phenotyping and Abiotic Stress Expert Working Groups of the Wheat Initiative are organizing a training course on the use of UAV-based phenotyping in wheat research and wheat breeding.

The course will be held at the University of Saskatoon Campus between 19-21 July 2019 (weekend before IWC 2019).

The number of participants will be capped to ensure hands-on training is possible.

At this stage they are seeking Expressions of Interest from those wanting to participate in the course with feedback on the preferred course content.

The EWgs aim to provide an overview of UAV technology at the beginning of the course, from hardware decisions to final analysis, but hands-on training can only be provided for a subset of topics.

By filling out the form (link below), you will help us tailor the course content to the needs of the wheat community
