About the Early Career Professionals Network (ECPN)
The Early Career Professionals Network (ECPN) is a new independant group, supported by an international array of networks, projects & research infrastructures, designed to create a vibrant, global community for rising talents in plant phenomics. Our goal is to establish a sustainable platform that supports upcoming professionals through collaboration, advocacy, knowledge exchange, and professional development. The ECPN will operate as a continuous self-governed, international network, extending beyond single events.
Our Vision
We aim to empower early career professionals (ECPs) in plant phenomics worldwide by focusing on:
-
Continuity: The ECPN will provide ongoing value to a global audience of ECPs, operating consistently beyond individual symposiums.
-
Regular Engagement: We will hold consistent virtual or in-person meetings at least once a year to foster dialogue, resource exchange, networking, and collaboration.
-
Strategic Communication: We will maintain open communication with key stakeholders, including major international networks and national infrastructures.
-
Advocacy & Feedback: We will provide a platform for ECPs to voice their needs to employers, funders, mentors, and trainers.
