‘CROPADAPT2026: Enhancing Multi-Stress Tolerance for Crop Resilience’ is a young scientist-led symposium that brings together researchers, students, and professionals from across the plant sciences community.

It takes place on October 14 -15, 2026 in Ghent, Belgium. The program is structured around two complementary perspectives: immediate resilience, focusing on how plants endure stress today, and future resilience, exploring innovative ways to shape the next generation of crops.

The program offers a broad perspective on crop resilience, addressing both current challenges and future needs. It brings together topics ranging from soil management and plant health to strategies for controlling pests and diseases, reflecting approaches that support resilience under today’s conditions. At the same time, it looks ahead by exploring advances in plant breeding, genetic improvement, and the fundamental understanding of how plants respond to emerging environmental pressures, including modeling approaches, artificial intelligence, and other data-driven technologies.
