Call for Applications: Co-Host IPPS9 with IPPN in Africa

IPPN is excited to announce a unique opportunity for African institutions to co-host the 9th International Plant Phenotyping Symposium (IPPS9) in 2026.
This landmark event will mark the first time IPPS is held on the African continent, representing a significant milestone for the global plant phenotyping community.
We invite all interested African universities, research centers, and governmental institutions to submit applications to partner with IPPN in organizing this prestigious symposium. This is an exceptional chance to showcase your institution's expertise, infrastructure, and contributions to plant science on an international stage.
IPPN is committed to sharing the organizational and financial responsibilities of IPPS9, ensuring a successful and impactful event. We welcome applications from both IPPN member and non-member institutions.

Interested applicants will be given the opportunity to present and showcase their venue to the IPPN Executive Board. The IPPN General Assembly will vote on the best application at the end of 2025, enabling the commencement of event organization in early 2026.
