Plant Phenomics Special Issue: Advances in 3D Plant Phenomics

We invite you to read articles published in the Plant Phenomics Special Issue, Advances in Plant Phenomics, guest edited by Dr. Jose Jimenez, Dr. Shichao Jin, Dr. David Rousseau, and Professor Haiyan Cen.

Plant phenomics, the comprehensive study of plant phenotypes, has gained prominence as a vital tool for understanding the intricate relationships between genotypes and the environment. In the last decades, 2D image-based phenotyping has brought remarkable breakthroughs for investigating plant growth and development. Recently, three-dimensional (3D) imaging and analytical techniques have opened new avenues for comprehensive studies of plant statues and dynamics under the interactions of genes and environment, especially from a 3D perspective and holistic thinking.
