Recent additions to the plant phenotyping infrastructure PHENOME-EMPHASIS

An installation combining rainout shelters and free air carbon enrichment facility is now open and available for experiments.

A fully automatic Phenomobile for high-throughput field phenotyping has been deployed and is made available commercially The system is guided by high precision GPS and allows scanning a wide range of species with a throughput of 100-200 plots/hour. It is equipped with LiDARs, multispectral cameras and high spatial resolution cameras working with a built-in illumination system making data acquisition independent from natural illumination.

The Phenome Information system is now available via an open licence. It allows organizing and storing datasets in both field and controlled conditions experiments
An international course was organized in April 2019 for using the information system, more will follow.
