Phenome Emphasis Prolonged Until 2025
The French infrastructure Phenome Emphasis has been officially prolonged until 2025, with an extra funding of EUR 5 million.
The additional funding is based on an adaptation of the infrastructure to deal with questions related to AgroEcology (multi-species canopies and their interactions with microorganisms) and data management (continuation of the effort towards a distributed information system).
Phenome Emphasis has contributed to a publication involving field and in-door phenotyping used for a novel method of genomic prediction of yield (Millet et al. 2019 Nature Genetics)
