IPPN Working Group Kick-off: "Applications of Artificial Intelligence in Plant Phenotyping"
This is an open call for participation going out to anyone interested to attend the kick-off of our newly established IPPN Working Group: "Applications of Artificial Intelligence in Plant Phenotyping"
After a small group of people met during IPPS2022 in order to discuss the future & restart of the old IPPN working group on Image Analysis, the IPPN Office is now inviting you to attend the kick-off for the new IPPN working group “Applications of Artificial Intelligence in Plant Phenotyping”.
As discussed during the IPPS meeting, IPPN managed to recruit two leads who were interested & willing to lead & develop the old working group towards new trajectories relevant in context of plant phenotyping: Dr Arti Singh (Iowa State University) & Germano Teixeira Gomes (VIB).
Throughout 2023 they managed to update & redefine the working groups proposal & to obtain acknowledgement by the IPPN Board to go forward with the establishment of the WG.
The IPPN Office formally invites everyone interested to attend the working group online kick-off on February 27th 2024, 15:00 -16:30 (Berlin time).
Within this meeting, there will be an open call for chair nominations & election for this newly established working group.
