International Plant & Animal Genome XXIX

This is the largest ag-genomics meeting in the world with over 3,000 attendees. PAG XXIX will require ALL attendees to be fully vaccinated prior to arriving in San Diego. 

The deadline for speaker nominations for two workshops (Plant Phenotyping Workshop & Challenges and Opportunities in Plant Science Data Management) at PAG XXIX until Thursday, October 1st!

The Plant & Animal Genome Conference is designed to provide a forum on recent developments and future plans for plant & animal genome projects. Consisting of technical presentations, poster sessions, exhibits and workshops, the conference is an excellent opportunity to exchange ideas and applications on this internationally important project.

We have extended the deadline for speaker nominations for two workshops at PAG XXIX until Thursday, October 1st! Information about the conference, these workshops, and how to submit nominations can be found below. This is a great opportunity to reach both domestic and international audiences, connect with existing and future collaborators, and showcase your creative activities. Please consider nominating yourself and/or your colleagues.

  • The Plant & Animal Genome Conference (PAG XXIX) will take place in person from January 8-12, 2022 in San Diego, California. This is the largest ag-genomics meeting in the world with over 3,000 attendees. PAG XXIX will require ALL attendees to be fully vaccinated prior to arriving in San Diego. 
  • We are soliciting nominations for national and international speakers at two workshops relevant to plant phenotyping and plant sciences:

Plant Phenotyping Workshop:

This workshop will highlight current research in plant phenotypes, including methods in measurement, bioinformatic tools, and data standards.

Challenges and Opportunities in Plant Science Data Management:

This workshop will showcase experts working in the areas of data and experimental description; data identification and discovery; data integration and data citation.
